Vital Heat Review – Does Vital Heat Actually Work To Heat Rooms?

Let’s face it, our winters aren’t getting any warmer, at least not here in Connecticut. In fact, it seems like it gets colder and colder every year – and I don’t know about you but my heating bills have been going up as well. Sometimes my electricity costs end up being nearly $100+ a month during winter. That’s why when I saw an advertisement on Facebook for this new type of heater called Vital Heat, I got really excited. Unlike a normal space heater, Vital Heat promises to heat rooms extremely fast while also saving on energy bills. It says it does this by using a new type of heating method that is 99% energy efficient. Still, there’s a lot of products that make big promises and end up not actually working, so I was very skeptical. That’s why I decided I’d test out Vital Heat for myself and write this review.

My Test With Vital Heat – Is It A Scam?

I ordered Vital Heat directly from the official website online and I received mine in the mail faster than I had expected (it was only a few days). I paid $49.95 for it which seems like a great price if it can actually save me money every month on electricity costs. It’s not quite winter here yet, but it is getting much colder so rather than turning on my central heating I opted for using the Vital Heater. It’s light and completely portable which is great and you don’t have to worry about it starting fires (it has an auto turn off feature when it touches anything).

My basement gets really cold and that’s where my office is so I mostly used it there. I plugged it in and turned it on the max heating setting. Amazingly, it actually heating my basement office extremely fast, it took about 3 minutes to heat the room to 73 degrees from 65 degrees. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to work as well as it did!

It seemed like it worked very well for heating my basement office, but I wondered if it’d actually work for heating larger rooms. I tested it out in my kitchen and was blown away by how well it worked. I’ve used space heaters in the past and they just don’t compare to how fast this tiny device can heat up rooms.

Okay, that’s great I thought. But would it actually save any money on electricity costs? I waited to receive my most recent electricity bill and when I did my jaw practically dropped to the floor. For whatever reason, my energy bill was half the cost it was for the previous month and the only thing I can attribute this to is using the Vital Heat Heater.

I was really surprised, I didn’t expect it to save me that much money. It basically paid for itself in the very first month of using it!

I went online and purchased another 3 units and got a pretty good discount of 50% off the regular price. I think it ended up costing around $150 for 3 of them which when you think about it is a great price when you compare it to the costs of central heating. That’s not to say I didn’t use central heating at all, but I was able to set the temperature on my central heating to a much lower temperature and then use these Vital Heaters to bring the temperature up in whichever room my family and I would use.
