There is no button or switch to enable or disable the All-Wheel drive system. Dodge says that if the system/vehicle detects any wheel slip or rain or snow, it will automatically enable the AWD system. The only way to check if it is running in AWD or RWD is in the instrument cluster display.

Here’s How To Check If Dodge Challenger GT is Running in All Wheel Drive Mode:

  • Press the down arrow button on the left side of your steering wheel until you see the “Vehicle Info” Section, it will be the 2nd option.
  • Now press the side arrow button to see more options in that menu.
  • Keep going until you see the drivetrain diagram.

It will show you what mode your car is in.

Quick tip: Turn ON your headlights and wipers on full blast, the AWD will get enabled by itself.
